Deidre House Future alien fusion? Psychedelic avant-prog? Post-jazzcore? I have no idea how to classify this, as it's among the most genuinely innovative stuff I've ever heard. Perhaps it bears superficial resemblances to things you've heard before, but this really is something else entirely. Thanks to Christopher Moklebust for bringing this band to my attention. All of their releases, though brief, are quite strong. Favorite track: What Really More is There to Say About World Hunger, Instrumentally?.

Christopher Moklebust I'll be honest, I'm a natural critic; but when it comes to Doom Salad my nature finds an incredibly formidable obstacle. It's hard to find anything negative to say about this band! They repeatedly come out with quality material. It's as if they write a full length album and then scratch all the bullshit! But then again they might just shit gold - who knows? Favorite track: Eerily Pop Sensible.
